About Eve

Eve Bradde has been a closet writer for many years, using her stories to escape the stress, boredom, and blistering cold of the upper mid-west. Now that her flesh and blood babies have been sent out into the world, she felt ready to send off her fictional babies as well.

With literary heroes like Stephen King and Laurell K. Hamilton, Eve enjoys stories on the darker side where the lines of good and evil, right and wrong, forgiveness and revenge can be pleasantly blurred, and a surprise twist ending is like a rainbow’s pot of gold. Growing up, she showed an early interest in the macabre when she became obsessed with classic horror movie monsters and Ripley’s Believe it or Not in elementary school (although to this day she still has an unexplainable fear of Rudolph’s Abominable Snowmonster *shudder*). Her interests expanded to fantasy and science fiction by high school, and although she loves all kinds of books and movies, she prefers the worlds in which the laws of reality can be suspended at least for a little while.

Trying to juggle two jobs, a husband, three children and a dog, Eve discovered the best place to create her story ideas was in her dreams. Several stacks of notebooks and computer file upgrades later, her dreams are finally being shared with the world where she hopes her blood, sweat and tears babies will be able to not only stand on their own, but fly into the hearts of others.
